Mission

Our Mission is to supply the rapidly growing independent white meat and egg industries with genetically proven stock, to enable them to provide quality, affordable protein to benefit all sectors of the community.

Vision

At Isinya Feeds Limited we have a vision of having the most modern poultry integration running strictly on scientific lines by professional management. Already we have completed the following:-

Nairobi

1. First phase of a parent brooding cum rearing farm at Enkasiti, Kitengela
2. A poultry breeding farm spread over 147 acres in an isolated area for biosecuritty reasons about 12 kilometres from Kitengela
3. A fully modern newly built hatchery filled with state of the art machinery with a capacity of hatching around 180,000 chicks per week.
4. A commercial layer farm producing table eggs for human consumption at Isinya (Kajiado), latest addition being a layer house with all equipment imported from world renowned “SALMET” of Germany raising laying flock capacity to 1,000,000 and rearing capacity of 40,000.
5. Feed mill: at Isinya (Kajiado) with manufacturing capacity of 2 tons per hour and to be upgraded to meet all our feed requirements internally as well as to make different types of feeds for sale.

Mombasa

1. A hatchery producing around 33,000 day old chicks weekly
2. A sale outlet at Khoja Flats, along Moi Avenue, selling our day old chicks and commercial table eggs and poultry equipments.

Who We Are

Isinya Feeds Limited was established in 1984. With a very humble beginning of a production capacity of 2000 day old chicks, it has grown to become one of the country’s largest fully integrated poultry company.

Our main products include day old chicks( broilers and layers), table eggs, hatching eggs, poultry equipment and animal feed.

The Secret to our success has been our investment in technology, our dedicated staff and our commitment to our customer needs.

Isinya Feeds Limited has invested heavily in technology which has enabled the company to increase our productivity compared to our competition.

Our hatchery equipment (Petersime) which was purchased from Belgium and has a capacity to produce 200,000 day old chicks( broilers and layers) a week.
We are producing 100,000 table eggs a day which are available in all supermarkets and hotels throughout the country.

Additionally, we currently are producing 120 tonnes a day of animal feed from our state of the art feedmill which was imported from Switzerland.

The company is managed by a highly competent team comprising of people with enormous experience in the agriculture and poultry sector. All our customers have access to our specialists who will help in any way they can.

Quality Policy

At Isinya Feeds Limited the motive is ‘Customer is the King’ and so he/she should be given top quality products. To achieve and maintain this goal, strict quality inspection of all our products is done and any product not conforming to standards are rejected and destroyed.

All commercial eggs are graded, quality inspected and stamped. We have almost completed the basic requirements for ISO accreditation and expect to be the first poultry company in East Africa to have an ISO certification.
